Oscar Nominations will be announced tomorrow morning, here are my predictions and a few wishes.
Best Picture – Last year we had 10 nominees, this year the academy has said the list will be between 5 to 10 depending on the percentage each film gets.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows part 2 – This is more of a wish, but it would be nice if the industry finally recognized this franchised. It made them all so rich and raised the bar for other franchises to follow.

Brad Pitt – Moneyball
Gary Oldman – Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy
Slot 5 – a toss up between, Michael Fassbender – Shame, Ryan Gosling – Ides of March or Drive, Michael Shannon - Take Shelter.
Long Shots – Leonardo DiCaprio - J Edgar, Daniel Craig – Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Joseph Gordon Levitt – 50/50
Best Actress
Michelle Williams – My Week with Marilyn
Viola Davis – The Help
Meryl Streep – The Iron Lady
Tilda Swinton – We Need To Talk About Kevin
Rooney Mara – The Girl with The Dragon Tatto
Maybe’s – Glenn Close – Albert Nobbs, Charlize Theron – Young Adult
