Monday 5/14 What You Should Watch

The Smash season finale is tonight, will it be Ivy or Karen, or will they keep us waiting all summer. 

House only has 2 episodes left.  Will Wilson die? Is he already dead?

Bones and Hart of Dixie also air their finales tonight. I was so shocked that Hart of Dixie got renewed, I will be surprised if it makes it the full season.

As Tom and Julia work to save the show, Derek makes a decision that permanently changes Karen’s and Ivy’s lives; Ellis’ true colors are revealed.

4/16 Monday What You Should Watch

I seriously think my DVR is going to explode tonight.

New episodes of Smash, Castle, House, 2 Broke Girls, Bones, Hart of Dixie and the rest of the CBS Monday line up (except Hawaii 5-0)

Smash gives us the first full episode with Uma Thurman and judging by the previews she is a nightmare.  NBC has some sneak peak clips up on their site .  Derek makes a play to get Ivy’s job back. BTW there is a big old rumor floating around the net that Jack Davenport (Derek) and Megan Hilty (Ivy) are having an affair. He is married so its quite the scandal.

Castle has a mini Firefly reunion tonight, Adam Baldwin is guest starring.

Smash

The arrival of a movie star (Uma Thurman) turns “Bombshell” upside-down; Ivy and Karen try to overcome their history and unite against their new rival; Tom and Sam’s romance heats up
 

Hart of Dixie

Zoe makes a romantic connection with a patient (Justin Hartley); Magnolia plans Lemon’s bachelorette party; Wade plans a hunting trip for George.
 

Bones

A corpse that has been dyed blue is found in a landfill; when Bones feels uncomfortable in her post-baby body, Booth tries to boost her self-confidence.

House

House and the team treat a man who sheds tears of blood; when House acts out when his favorite prostitute decides to leave the business.

Caroline promises to put Earl’s tax return in the mail but gets sidetracked when she learns Max has never filed.

Julia and Tom must find a title for the recently reinvigorated musical; Ivy and Karen compete for an orange juice commercial; Frank makes a discovery.

House

Lots of new episodes of all our favorites tonight, except Hart of Dixie.

CBS comedy block is all new tonight, I have been jonesing for 2 Broke Girls, so glad its back.

House is new tonight, the march to the series finale continues.

Dancing With The Stars premieres a new season. The case on an all new Castle is about the murder of contestant on dance show, what a coincidence.

Top Spot: Smash – It’s the moment we have been waiting for, the workshop finally takes place and we get to meet Ivy’s mom who is a broadway star, played by a real Broadway legend Bernadette Peters.  Based on the sneak peak below she is redefining stage mother. singing “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” from Gypsy.

Eileen, Derek and the team present “Marilyn the Musical” to would-be investors; Ivy struggles to perform; Karen must make a difficult choice; Julia and Michael face the consequences of their actions.

Monday 2/27 What You Should Watch

27 Feb

We are in the final days of February Sweeps, more new episodes tonight.

CBS all new, can’t wait for the laughs.  I really love 2 Broke Girls, Jennifer Coolidge is a fantastic addition.

House continues to wrap up its final season in style.

Sad to say it, but Hart of Dixie doesn’t do it for me anymore. I will not be sorry when it gets cancelled, so much potential just wasted.

Smash is on tonight at 10, I am sticking with it for the rest of the season. It started strong, but has waned a bit the last few lets hope it picks up and gets renewed. The main problem with the show is, the characters aren’t likeable, if you are going to center your show around their personal lives then make the characters likeable.  Character Rehab stat for all.

Karen must learn how to get ahead in the world of Broadway; Derek throws a party for a hot, young celebrity (Nick Jonas); Eileen tests a new fundraising strategy; Tom goes on a date

House

Zoe is thrilled when it snows in Bluebell, but the rest of the town becomes superstitious; Lavon introduces Didi to his parents; George and Lemon make a big decision.

Max and Caroline pretend their cupcakes are kosher when they serve them at a bar mitzvah.

Monday 2/13 What You Should Watch

13 Feb

House gets the top spot tonight, it was announced last week that House will not be coming back next year. 

Smash debuted to solid ratings last week, will it hold on in week 2, tonight will tell the tale. I am not sure how long they can keep up the dueling diva storyline once they cast one of the girls, unless the other is the understudy.  Are you on team Karen or team Ivy Lynn, don’t get me wrong Katherine McPhee is really talented, but Megan Hilty is a force. If the show doesn’t work out I predict big things for this young lady. She has made her mark on Brodway, now she will hit it on TV and Film.

Hart of Dixie, last week Lemon’s secret about finding her mom came out. Tonight Zoe will find out about Lemon and Lavon’s affair, will she tell George? Of course not?  I predict the season finale or the second to last episode will be the wedding and the secret will come out. Season 2 will be about the aftermath.

Alcatraz, I am recording and watching a few days later. It is interesting but I don’t schedule my life around it like TVD, Revenge or Ringer.

This season of House has been one of it’s best, last weeks episode was fantastic, the previews for tonight’s show promise more of the same.

As Chase treats Moira (Julie Mond), a cloistered nun who is on the verge of making life-altering vows, they form a connection that causes Moira to question her faith; Taub and House take part in a series of pranks.
 

Hart of Dixie

When Sophie’s (Jennifer Coolidge) beauty overwhelms Earl, Caroline and Max wind up spending Valentine’s Day at the hospital; Caroline tries to rekindle an old flame.

Monday 2/6 What You Should Watch

Its my Dad’s birthday!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!

February Sweeps are in full swing.

Smash premieres tonight at 10 on NBC. I saw the pilot, its good, nothing like Glee at all, don’t belive the comparisons. Its’s worth your time, DVR it if you are already committed to 5-0 or Castle.

CBS comedy block All New – Can’t wait for 2 Broke Girls, I am really in love with that potty dirty girl humor. I can’t get enough dick and vibrator jokes. How ironic is it, that we just honored Mary Tyler Moore at the SAG awards for her contributions as a woman in and on TV and she did it without a single dick joke, neither did Lucy.  Women can be funny without potty humor.

Fox All New – House looks really good. If this is the last season, they are definitely going out on a high note.

CW All New – Hart of Dixie, keeps the fluff a coming.

ABC all New – Castle has the big noir episode tonight, we either jump the shark or this becomes another in a long line of fun Castle episodes.

Did I mention it’s sweeps.

House, Hart of Dixie and Repeats Monday 11 28 What You Should Watch

28 Nov

And so it begins, November sweeps are over and the holiday season is upon us, here come the repeats.  If we are lucky enough to get new episodes they are few and far between and this week will probably be the last of the new until after the new year.

Enjoy the new stuff while it lasts, soon enough it will be the TV version of fruitcake for all. Lots of crap no one wants to eat.

CBS is all repeats, Hart of Dixie and House are all new.  Time to give Hart of Dixie a try, pretty please with sugar on top.
